Hands-on Spec-Driven Development

🕑

Time and room for this session are published in October. when the timetable goes live.

In this lab, participants will learn how to develop software efficiently and systematically using Spec-driven Development (SDD) and the AI Unified Process (AIUP).

Using a practical example project, participants will be guided step by step through the entire development process: from the initial vision and requirements specification to implementation.

The lab demonstrates how to effectively use AI-powered tools to generate executable software from clearly defined specifications. We will use a simple Java stack to focus on the specifications. Participants will work with an AI agent, integrate skills and MCPs, and experience firsthand how these tools accelerate the development process.

This lab is designed for developers who want to understand how structured specifications and AI tools work together to create high-quality software.

Required infrastructure:
- AI agent (Claude Code recommended, Copilot CLI, Codex, or others possible)
- Java 25
- An editor or IDE
